J-Walkers Golf for the Cure

 

THE 2ND ANNUAL J-WALKERS GOLF FOR THE CURE

TOURNAMENT WAS HELD ON MAY 27TH, 2008.

We wish to thank first and foremost our generous sponsors who gave selflessly to the J-Walkers in support of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. 

The wonderful golfers had a marvelous day filled with great weather, wonderful food, terrific comradery and an evening hosted by the Eagles' own Mike Quick and Harold Carmichael.  Due to YOUR generosity, J-Walkers for the Cure was able to mail a check in excess of $26,000 to the Breast Cancer 3-DAY.  That money benefits members of our team who EACH needed to raise $2,200 to participate in the 3-DAY 60 MILE EVENT!

Thanks to people like YOU, as of the end of our 3-DAY journey in October of 2008, J-Walkers for the Cure has raised close to $74,000!  We will be back next year and our Third Annual Golf for the Cure will be held on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009.

Please mark your calendars and look for us early next year.  Have a safe, cancer-free 2009 and thank you again!
